Job Summary
Manage the Institutional yearly Budget Process by creating templates with historical data and forecasts, then upload budgets into Microsoft Dynamics AX/365. Monitor monthly expenses against actuals to control variations and prepare midyear revisions, while tracking D365 project contracts with consultants. Prepare and send monthly and quarterly financial reports, support the master data system, and analyze large databases to provide insights and develop KPIs. Integrate the Management Reporting Package monthly and respond to ad hoc financial requests. Based in Texcoco, Mexico, this role supports the Financial Planning Unit and works closely with various organizational areas. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with five years of experience in budgeting and expense analysis.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in financial, Accounting, Budget, Forecast, Expenses Analysis
- Knowledge of financial systems, ERP, MS office, Managing large databases, data extraction methods, report presentation and analytical skills
- Demonstrated experience in the preparation of relevant and timely financial management information including the use of visual information
- Strongly developed analytical skills and the ability to identify financial trends
- Advance in excel skills
- Ability to work independently, to prioritize and to plan
- Proactive and flexible, able to deal with conflicting priorities and deadlines
- Strong customer service orientation
- Excellent communication skills and a high level of attention to details
- Proficiency in English and Spanish, with good written / oral communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work with different nationalities, under pressure and as a member of diverse work team
