Job Summary

M2 Mechanic Licensed Technician responsible for assembling, disassembling, and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic aircraft systems. Duties include diagnosing structural/mechanical/hydraulic issues from drawings and manuals, repairing/overhauling systems, installing/modifying engines and systems (mechanical, hydraulic, flight control, fuel, pneumatic), dismantling and reassembling airframes and engines, conducting routine maintenance, documenting defects and repairs, ensuring compliance with Transport Canada standards, monitoring quality and safety, interpreting parameters, and participating in the Safety Management System. Requires strong reading of technical documentation, tool proficiency, and a valid Transport Canada M2 license (or working towards it). Shift work with potential overtime; work conducted on hangar floor in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Aircraft Maintenance
  • Valid Transport Canada M2 license (or working towards)
  • Endorsements for 737 NG / Max and/or Embraer 170/190 are an asset
  • Ability to read and apply technical documentation and drawings
  • Proficiency in using trade tools and calibrated equipment
  • Knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARS) and regulatory documentation
  • Ability to meet quality, cost, and time commitments
  • Own tools and toolbox
