Job Summary

Coordinate and conduct performance-based maintenance and technical training programs for nuclear plant disciplines including Chemistry, Engineering, Maintenance, and Radiation Protection. Prepare trainee examinations, evaluate results across classroom, laboratory, and simulator environments, and develop individualized training plans based on INPO reports and NRC bulletins. Maintain current training records, participate in regulatory audits, and support CEC initiatives such as refuel outages and emergency preparedness. Perform departmental coverage and call-outs as directed.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED with 3 years of nuclear technical discipline experience or 5 years of related (applicable discipline instruction) experience
  • Associate's/Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (e.g. chemistry, engineering, health physics, mathematics, physics), education or training with 2 years of related technical discipline experience or 4 years of related (applicable discipline instruction) experience
  • Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
  • High school diploma/GED with 5 years of nuclear technical background or 7 years of related (applicable discipline instruction) experience
  • Associate's degree in technical discipline (e.g. chemistry, electrical, engineering, instrumentation, mathematics, mechanical, radiation protection), education or training with 3 years of nuclear technical background or 5 years of related (applicable discipline instruction) experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (e.g. chemistry, engineering, health physics, mathematics, physics), education or training with 3 years of related (applicable discipline instruction) experience
  • 2 years of training or education experience
  • Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous experience in delivering training
  • Knowledge of and experience with the systematic approach to training (SAT)
  • Foreman/lead or supervisory experience
