Job Summary
Represent Buffer, Media & Utilities know-how in the project team to support systems for insulin processes from upstream fermentation to downstream purification. Support and oversee engineering tasks across planning, design, P&ID review, and HAZOP phases while harmonizing processes between Frankfurt and China facilities. Collaborate with engineering, quality, and process experts to review equipment designs, support vendor selection, develop SOPs, and establish user requirements. Coordinate a team of up to 10 people to secure buffer and media supply under GMP conditions, participate in commissioning and C&Q/OQ/PQ/PPQ activities, and implement microbial and contamination control strategies. Build the operational team and support strategic workforce planning within this cross-functional program leading to commercial routine manufacturing.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in chemical engineering, Biotechnology, Bioengineering or related education
- >3 years industrial experience in the pharmaceutical business
- Technical background in the operation of large-scale chemical or biochemical equipment
- Knowledge of cGMP and regulatory requirements
