Job Summary
Maintain Mechanical and Electrical equipment in open road and tunnel environments, including inspecting HV&LV electrical distribution systems, HVAC, fire systems, and water treatment facilities across the Sydney Southern Network. Work as part of a skilled team under M&E Supervisors to ensure the performance and resilience of 40km of interconnected motorways and tunnels. Operate on a rotating 12-hour day/night shift roster (typically 4 on/4 off or 5 on/5 off) with a base rate of $50.51/hr plus night and weekend loadings. Requires an electrical licence, White Card, and Australian C Class drivers licence.
Required Qualifications
- Electrical licence
- White Card
- Australian C Class (or above) Drivers Licence
- Right to Work in Australia
- Drive and enthusiasm to be part of one of the biggest infrastructure projects in NSW
- A strong work ethic
- Problem solving / strong customer results orientation
- Understanding and commitment to occupational health and safety requirements and the environment
- Experience/willingness to work shifts over a rotational roster including nights, some weekends and occasional public holidays
Desired Qualifications
- HV Switching
- Full ARC Licence
- Industrial maintenance experience
- Roadways equipment maintenance experience
