Job Summary
M&E Sales Coordinator role at Village Hotel Club focusing on Christmas Programme events. Responsibilities include sales planning for event attendees, outreach to local businesses and organisations, in-hotel promotional activities, proactive outbound calls to secure bookings, upselling during Christmas, coordinating events (payments, menu/drink choices, special requests), learning and updating the Sales System, researching local organisations and promotional forums, updating daily sales figures and reconciling payments, and chasing final balances. Requires an outgoing, personable character, target focus, flexibility to work evenings/weekends, attention to detail, confidence on the telephone and with clients, knowledge of social media, strong written English, and prior customer service experience.
