Job Summary

Join Avove as a Mechanical & Electrical Project Engineer to manage mechanical engineering activities throughout the design, build, and commissioning phases of water industry projects. Responsibilities include providing progress updates, reviewing method statements, preparing subcontractor scopes, and supporting site teams with engineering decisions. The ideal candidate has proven experience in mechanical or MEICA projects, a strong understanding of mechanical systems (like pumps, valves, and dosing systems), and knowledge of relevant standards and treatment processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience delivering mechanical or MEICA projects in the water treatment industry
  • Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes
  • Ability to produce and implement mechanical Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)

Desired Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems
  • Confident using Microsoft Office
  • Awareness of DWI, WIMES and WRAS standards
