Job Summary
Core responsibilities include learning and participating in safety and quality plans, performing entry-level mechanical, electrical and field construction activities, assisting in developing budgetary M/E estimates from program/schematic data, aiding in preconstruction option reviews and system analyses, developing mechanical/electrical scopes of work for bid coordination, assisting with bid analysis and subcontractor selection, developing sequencing for systems to meet schedules, identifying potential design-related quality issues, participating in shop drawing/submittal processes, and contributing to commissioning activities including pre-functional checklists and functional testing; requires ability to read plans/drawings, proficiency with MS Office, strong communication and teamwork, and the ability to deliver quality work on construction projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, architectural engineering or related field (Required).
- 2+ years construction and/or engineering experience (Required).
