M&A Banker - Analyst/Associate

Job Summary
In Japan M&A, participate in the full cycle of transactional execution from marketing pitches to financial analysis, client presentations, and day-to-day M&A process activities. Collaborate with coverage partners in Japan and globally, support origination and execution, coordinate with ECM, DCM and other product groups to implement originations and executions, and develop towards senior or leadership roles while applying strong financial modelling and transactional knowledge. Must be able to interact effectively with clients and professionals in both Japanese and English, and work with a self-directed, proactive approach to manage transactions and cross-functional activities.
Required Qualifications
- Prior work experience in an investment banking front office role
- Strong financial modelling and financial analytical skills
- Understands transaction cycle and the steps in the process
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Japanese and English
