Job Summary
Craft and integrate UI components using React.js and Angular with AI systems, optimizing front-end performance and maintaining comprehensive documentation. Prepare AI and ML models from solutions architecture inputs and integrate autonomous agents for decision-making and workflow automation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design new features, build reusable libraries, and translate designs into high-quality code. Troubleshoot issues, conduct code reviews, and develop interfaces for human-in-the-loop processes. This 9+ month contract requires quarterly on-site work in Richmond, VA, with the candidate covering travel costs. Submit a resume and hourly rate immediately. The role supports the Department of Transportation's AI Composite Agentic Solution.
Required Qualifications
- 5 Years ReactJS experience
- 2 Years Agentic AI Skills (AI Models, ML, LLM, Deep Learning)
- 5 Years experience building high performance solutions to leverage large data sets
- 5 Years experience with HTML5/CSS3
- 1 Years experience integrating with deck.gl
- 3 Years experience with building BI widgets and GIS enabled visualizations (Azure Maps)
- A degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
- Contractor must work EST business hours
- Contractor is responsible for their travel cost
- Contractor will need to come to Richmond, VA quarterly
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to Integrate ReactJS with deck.gl
- Building GIS enabled visualizations using Azure Maps
- Expertise in Azure App Services, Azure ML Studio WS, Power BI, Azure Function Apps, Azure Container Apps, Azure API Management
- Experience implementing Azure Machine Learning, Azure Computer Vision, Azure Video Indexer, Azure OpenAI models, Azure Media Services, Azure AI Search
- Ability to work with large data sets to improve performance efficiency
- Develop visual representations of agent states, decisions, and actions to help users comprehend and trust agentic technology
- Design forms and tools for collecting data from experiment participants, ensuring data integrity and ease of use
- Develop interfaces that facilitate interaction between humans and automated systems, allowing for human oversight and intervention in human-in-the-loop processes
- Knowledge of REACT tools including React.js, Axios, React Router, Redux, etc.
- Strong JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 skills
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Tokens
- Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git)
- Understanding of front-end build tools and pipelines
- Strong leadership, excellent problem-solving and communication skills
