Job Summary
Lead and scale a new manufacturing team for the 2K asset expansion in Portsmouth, NH. Directly supervise an initial four-direct-report team, expanding to 8–10 associates as operations mature. Own onboarding, cGMP training, and qualifications for the new team, ensuring equipment readiness, SOP alignment, and data integrity. Oversee preparatory activities for asset expansion, manage shift transitions and daily production schedules, and ensure compliant cGMP manufacturing runs with adherence to batch records, validation protocols, and RCA/CAPA processes. Coordinate cross-functionally with QA, Engineering, Maintenance, and MSAT to achieve site production goals while fostering a safe, collaborative floor culture.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in cGMP biological manufacturing (large-scale mammalian or microbial assets preferred)
- previous experience in a step-up, lead, or supervisory capacity
- experience mentoring junior staff and driving accountability
- deep familiarity with core biomanufacturing equipment, automated control systems (DeltaV), electronic batch records, and SOPs
- strong alignment with GDP and Good Documentation Practices
