Job Summary
Per Diem/Days Patient Access Coordinator at Overlake’s Off-Campus Emergency Department in Lynnwood. Responsible for greeting and orienting patients and visitors, interviewing for complete demographic and financial data to complete the registration promptly, collecting payments, obtaining signatures, and communicating hospital regulations and services. Requires demonstrated customer service skills; formal training in medical terminology, hospital finance and customer relations is a plus. Preferred six months of experience in insurance verification, billing, medical office or hospital financial services, and/or admitting/registration experience in healthcare settings.
