Job Summary
Lymphedema Physical Therapist role providing evaluation and treatment for lymphedema patients, developing individualized care plans, performing CDT (MLD, compression bandaging, garment fitting, therapeutic exercise), educating patients and caregivers on self-management, monitoring progress, and coordinating with nursing, OT, and physicians. Responsibilities include maintaining regulatory-compliant documentation, delivering care in a home-health setting, promoting autonomous scheduling, and contributing to a collaborative, patient-centered team with opportunities for ongoing training and skill development.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- valid state license as a Physical Therapist
- experience in lymphedema management preferred
- ability to perform Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) including Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)
- ability to educate patients and caregivers
- excellent communication and collaboration skills
