Job Summary
Lymphedema Physical Therapist responsible for evaluating and treating patients with lymphedema, developing individualized care plans, and performing Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) including Manual Lymphatic Drainage, compression bandaging and garment fitting, and therapeutic exercise. Educates patients and caregivers on self-management, monitors progress, and adjusts plans as needed. Collaborates with nursing, OT, and physicians, and maintains accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Valid state Physical Therapy license
- Experience in lymphedema management preferred
- Ability to perform Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) including Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)
- Ability to provide patient and caregiver education on self-management techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Team-oriented with interdisciplinary collaboration
- Maintain documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
