Job Summary
Proactively maintain and service all plant equipment in line with manufacturers' recommendations and the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule. Lead Plant Service Engineering staff to ensure effective workload management, organize tasks via Workmate, and liaise with the Operational team. Execute routine and breakdown maintenance while promoting continuous improvement and health and safety standards through Engineering Safe Systems of Work. Manage spares availability, ensure equipment documentation is current, and maintain accurate reporting and administration records. Assist the Engineering team leader with training development plans and fault response services.
Required Qualifications
- Mechanical appreciation toward PPM schedules
- Ability to understand mechanical drawings
- PC literate
- Bench fitting skills
- Apprentice trained
- ONC/HNC Mechanical
- Knowledge of plant maintenance & maintenance experience
- Grades A & B in Maths and English
- NVQ 2&3 Technical
