Job Summary
Direct the full lifecycle of the Academy's asynchronous learning products, from designing accessible eLearnings and microlearnings to managing production queues and overseeing service provider contracts. Lead the Learning Experience Design team by supervising staff, coaching on leadership skills, and facilitating operational meetings to ensure alignment on project timelines and deliverables. Optimize agile project management systems to streamline workflows, conduct quality assurance testing for course content, and present strategic plans to division leadership. Manage relationships with internal teams and external partners while maintaining clear communication on production progress and critical decisions. Work within a hybrid schedule, occasionally traveling to Riverside or San Diego for on-site coordination.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced technical proficiency with creating end-to-end accessible eLearnings using rapid eLearning authoring tools (Articulate 360: Storyline and Rise)
- Technical proficiency with using graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite)
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Google solutions
- Demonstrated proficiency in project management skills including planning and executing technical, relational, and operational project activities within the LXD team, across Academy teams, and customers
- Extensive understanding of software development models, adult learning theories, and universal design principles
- Excellent ability to consult on curriculum outcomes, learning objectives, and assessment strategies for adult learners
- Reside within California throughout the duration of employment
- Must be available for intermittent overnight travel and work shifts outside of normal business hours, including weekends and evenings if needed
- Must reside within a commutable distance from the worksite (Riverside or San Diego office)
