Job Summary
Operate CHEP-owned box trucks to execute daily less-than-truckload deliveries and collections at over 100 customer locations in the Chicago area. Document site conditions, recovery challenges, and delivery data while adhering to DOT regulations and safety standards. Collaborate with internal teams to develop project plans for operational improvements and lead teammates through training on new processes. Visit potential collection sites to promote the LVR Program and gather information for customer base expansion. This field-based role supports the global share-and-reuse business model used by major brands to transport goods efficiently and sustainably.
Required Qualifications
- Clean driving record
- Ability to obtain a DOT medical card with no restrictions
- Physically capable of lifting 65 lbs regularly
- Strong communication skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Analytical skills
- Experience with route optimization
- Customer relationship management experience
- Ability to lead peers indirectly
- Ability to work autonomously
