Job Summary
The LVN-Unit Manager will assist the Director of Nursing Services in managing the nursing service department, ensuring the delivery of quality patient care in accordance with regulations. Responsibilities include overseeing nursing staff, developing care plans, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an Accredited School of Nursing
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (preferred)
- Good standing with the State Board of Nursing
- 1-3 years of supervisory experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
- Ability to lift/move up to 25 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with PCC
- Ability to develop in-service training programs
- Knowledge of quality assurance activities
- Ability to manage budgets
Additional Requirements
- Requires good standing with the State Board of Nursing
- Must maintain continuing education/licensing requirements
