Job Summary
Monitor assigned reports and follow up on unresolved discrepancies. Distribute communications to appropriate staff and maintain tracking systems with accurate, up-to-date information. Receive, address, triage, and relay messages for field staff, including incoming faxes with physician orders and lab results. Facilitate visit schedules for team members, manage MD orders, and assist with pre-bill audits. Provide general clerical support to the Clinical Manager and participate in quality management activities. Assist with weekend patient scheduling and on-call coverage. Work from the Company Support Center with reliable transportation and auto liability insurance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Experience in computer processing
- Above average word processing/data entry skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to maintain confidential information
- Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm and courteous manner at all times
- Reliable transportation
- Auto liability insurance
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to be flexible and work well with others
- Available to agency personnel in person or by telephone during the Agency operating hours and possibly after hours for emergencies
- Some exposure to unpleasant weather
- The home base will be at the Company Support Center
- Computer and basic office equipment
