Job Summary
The LVN Supervisor oversees nursing staff and program activities at a Mental Health Rehabilitation Center, ensuring quality care and appropriate administration of medications. Responsibilities include staff training, performance evaluations, and developing care plans for patients, with a strong focus on recovery-oriented practices.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited LVN or LPT program and current licensure
- Current CPR/BLS certificate
- Two (2) years of LVN/LPT experience in health care environment
- One (1) year of supervisory experience or completion of Telecare assigned Supervisory training within 12 months
- Must be CPR, CPI, and First Aid certified on date of employment or within 60 days
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience with population to be served and/or work in a similar program setting
- Understanding of psychiatric illness and its treatment
- Knowledge of psychotropic medication
Additional Requirements
- Must pass a physical examination and tuberculosis test
- Criminal background clearance and degree/license verification
