Job Summary
Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides basic nursing care under clinical supervision to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities (IDD). Responsibilities include routine health monitoring, medication administration, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), observing and reporting changes to the clinical supervisor, reinforcing infection control, supporting individualized health care and behavior support plans, participating in healthcare services onsite via telehealth or in-person visits, maintaining medication storage and documentation, ensuring HIPAA-compliant records, and providing nursing support during on-call shifts. Requires active LPN/LVN licensure, BLS, and at least 1 year of clinical experience with IDD/DD populations or LTC preferred. Proficiency with EHR systems and Microsoft 365 is expected, with ability to work independently and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
Required Qualifications
- Active LPN/LVN license from state of residence. If work location is in a different state, must hold a multi-state LPN/LVN license in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
- Graduate of an accredited LPN/LNV program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with IDD/DD populations or LTC preferred
