Job Summary
Deliver competent and skilled care to patients and families according to their identified needs under the supervision of a physician, physician assistant, nurse practitioner, clinical coordinator, or registered nurse. Guide nursing care based on the nursing process and documented nursing care plans, augmenting the medical plan of treatment. Provide care as directed across specialty clinics with a team-orientation, emphasizing good customer relations, sound clinical judgment, and decision-making abilities grounded in evidence-based practice. Maintain current BLS certification and PALS certification within two years of hire, along with other necessary Specialty Clinic certifications. Work the first shift with a standard 32-hour weekly schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or met the educational requirements to test for licensure
- Current permit or license to practice vocational nursing in the State of Texas
- Current BLS
- PALS Certification within 2 years of hire
