Job Summary

Conduct patient-focused assessment, intervention, and education in the Southlake Urgent Care Center under physician and advanced practice provider direction. Perform daily clinical duties per established policy and procedure while collaborating with medical staff. Maintain current Texas vocational nursing license, CPR certification, and PALS certification. Requires high school diploma, vocational nursing graduation, and one year of clinic or office experience, with pediatric experience preferred. Varying shifts totaling 36 weekly hours. Part of Cook Children's Medical Center, dedicated to providing advanced care and research to children who may not otherwise have access to quality health care.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of an accredited school of vocational nursing
  • Current license to practice vocational nursing in the State of Texas
  • Current CPR certification

Desired Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year nursing experience in a clinic or office setting
  • 1 year pediatric experience
  • PALS certification obtained within one year of hire
