Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing facility under the supervision of an RN or Director of Nursing. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitor vital signs and resident conditions, assist with individualized care plans, supervise CNAs, maintain accurate medical documentation, ensure infection control and safety standards, respond to emergencies, participate in shift reports and interdisciplinary team meetings, and deliver compassionate, privacy-respecting care.
Required Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of employment
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
- Current CPR certification required
