Job Summary
Provide specialty care and services for a 17-year-old patient requiring 1-on-1 support, including monitoring vital signs, administering medication, placing IVs, and assisting with CPT, cough, catheter, and CPAP needs. Develop day-to-day care plans and collaborate with providers to discuss patient care while acting as a liaison between the patient, family, and medical representatives. Obtain health history, document conditions, and plan home-care options upon discharge. Supervise staffed LVNs and PAS/PCS personnel as needed while adhering to current safety and health code standards. Work flexible shifts in Floresville with on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- LVN's & RN's
- Able to lift 25 lbs
- Knowledge of relevant drugs, medications, Current procedures, legal and ethical standards
- Able to work independently without continual supervision
- Able to work with stressful environments, people, or situations
- Must be available for Mon: 4:00p-9:00p
- Must be available for Thurs: 4:00p-8:0a
- Must be available for Fri/Sat: 6:00a-6:00p
- Must be available for Sun: 6:00a-10:00p
