Job Summary
You’ll be responsible for treating and preventing minor injuries and illnesses for students at the San Diego Job Corps Center. Essential functions include rendering first aid and assisting physicians, cleansing and dressing wounds, administering specified medications, performing routine lab tests, monitoring students in the infirmary, assisting with programs such as pregnancy management, weight control, tuberculosis, and smoking cessation, triage and taking vital signs, chart review and patient care documentation, and assisting healthcare providers as needed. Maintain clinic facilities to high standards and support nursing care in a fast-paced school-health setting.
Required Qualifications
- Valid LVN license in the state of employment
- IV/Blood draw certification
- Driver license with acceptable driving record
