Job Summary
A Day Surgery/Ambulatory LVN provides direct nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, including collecting patient history and health information, coordinating with the surgical team, managing basic life support in emergencies, recording vital signs and care details in EMR, maintaining supplies and equipment, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. Responsibilities may include floating among clinical services, adhering to HIPAA and OSHA regulations, respecting cultural practices, and staying punctual for shifts.
