Job Summary
Provide compassionate care to pediatric patients in home settings with a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio. Perform nursing procedures, assist with treatment and rehabilitation, and participate in assessment planning, implementation, and evaluation under clinical supervision. Deliver health counseling, emotional support, and parental education while coordinating care with physicians and other agencies. Operate an automobile with a current license to transfer patients between locations. Work Saturdays and Sundays from 0900-1800 for low acuity cases. Join Children's Home Healthcare, specializing in medically-complex children, where new grads may access an extern program.
Required Qualifications
- Valid/Current Nursing License
- Valid/Current CPR Card for Healthcare Workers
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule and fill in when needed
- Self motivator and require little supervision
- Operate an automobile with a current driver's license and current auto insurance
- Be completely mobile to life and transfer a patient from one location to another
- Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
