LVN or LPT - Day shift - Per Diem

The Health Center LVN/LPT on Day shift provides direct and indirect nursing care for children and residents, including assessments, administering medications and immunizations, preparing for emergencies, and coordinating with the Treatment Team to support Youth Plan goals. Responsibilities include conducting nursing assessments, initiating emergency procedures per policy, performing tasks such as TB skin tests and immunizations, ensuring proper medication management and documentation, attending Treatment Team meetings and Treatment Plan Reviews, delivering in-service training on health issues and infection control, and liaising with external providers. The role requires LVN or LPT licensure and pediatric/mental health nursing experience is preferred, with proficiency in computerized and traditional clinical records systems and a capacity to work within a trauma-responsive, culturally sensitive framework.
