Job Summary
Provide recovery-focused services by safely administering medical treatments and medications as prescribed, while implementing direct care in accordance with established policies and standards. Deliver compassionate, home-like environment support to adults in mental health crises, utilizing a multi-disciplinary team approach to assess needs, soothe individuals, and connect them with resources to avoid locked settings. Shifts available include short hours, NOC, and Sunday/Monday rotations from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Starting wage ranges from $27.23 to $33.66, adjusted for geographic location and shift differentials. Candidates must hold current LVN/LPT licensure, CPR/BLS certification, and First Aid/CPI credentials. Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) /Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) program
- Current licensure as an LVN or LPT
- Current CPR/BLS certificate
- At least 18 years of age
- CPR, First Aid, and CPI certification (hands-on course) on date of employment or prior to providing direct client care
- Maintenance of current CPR, First Aid, and CPI certification throughout employment
- Successful completion and receipt of acceptable results of the applicable post-offer physical examination
- Acceptable results of a 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis
- Acceptable criminal background clearances
- Excluded party sanctions clearance
- Degree or license verification
- Valid driver license (if position requires driving)
- Motor vehicle clearance (if position requires driving)
- Proof of auto insurance (if position requires driving)
