Job Summary
Administer medical treatments and medications as prescribed by physicians while implementing direct care in accordance with established policies and standards of care. Provide recovery-focused services to clients within a short-stay crisis stabilization unit offering 24/7 services to adults and youth. Maintain current CPR/BLS, First Aid, and CPI certifications and possess a valid driver's license with personal vehicle insurance for driving clients to appointments. On-call shifts vary as needed with a starting wage range of $27.23 - $33.66.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) /Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) program
- Current licensure as an LVN or LPT
- Current CPR/BLS certificate
- At least 18 years of age
- CPR certification
- First Aid certification
- CPI certification (hands-on course)
- Successful completion and receipt of acceptable results of the applicable post-offer physical examination
- Acceptable results of the 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis
- Acceptable criminal background clearances
- Excluded party sanctions clearance
- Degree or license verification
- Valid driver's license
- Motor vehicle clearance
- Proof of auto insurance
- Valid and current driver's license
- Personal vehicle insurance with the applicant's name listed as a driver
- Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups
