Job Summary
Schedule and input Minimum Data Set (MDS) information into the MDI system by mandated deadlines with high accuracy. Collect MDS documents within established time frames, compare entered data against originals, and make corrections as needed. Retrieve validation reports, lock MDS after final validation, and file documents in residents' charts. Notify coworkers of data questions, entry delays, or system obstacles. Maintain confidentiality of all patient care information. Requires current CA LVN license, one year MDS Coordinator experience, and MDS 3.0 reimbursement proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Current and unencumbered CA, LVN License
- 1 year as MDS Coordinator in LTC setting
- Must have the ability to type a minimum of 50 words per minute
- Must be able to complete a background check
- Must be able to complete a pre-employment physical
- Must be able to pass a drug screening
Desired Qualifications
- MDS Certified
- Knowledge of PDPM
- Proficient in MDS 3.0 reimbursements
