Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care to clients according to physicians' orders and applicable standards within your scope of practice. Direct non-licensed personnel in providing client care and operating the unit. Maintain current California licensure as an LVN or LPT, CPR, and first aid certifications. Work cooperatively with staff and supervise others as needed. On-call schedule applies. Required Qualifications
- Current licensure in California as an LVN or LPT
- Knowledge of general nursing theory and practice
- Ability to supervise
- Ability to work cooperatively with other staff members
- Current CPR and first aid certifications
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation including criminal history and identity check
- Crestwood is required to participate in the E-Verify program
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in mental health nursing preferred
