Job Summary
Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct patient care in a correctional healthcare setting, administers medications and treatments, monitors patient status, assists with intake screenings, responds to emergencies, documents in medical records, and collaborates with physicians and healthcare staff under RN supervision. Night shift with rotating weekends in Texarkana, TX at a jail facility; requires Texas LVN/LPN license, CPR, ability to work in a secure environment, and completion of background check.
Required Qualifications
- Current LVN or LPN license in the State of Texas
- Current CPR certification
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a secure correctional environment
- Experience in correctional, emergency, or institutional healthcare preferred but not required
