Job Summary
LVN at Hurst Urgent Care Center works in collaboration with physicians and APPs to provide ambulatory nursing care. Responsibilities include patient-focused assessment, intervention, and education, with daily clinical duties per policy. Must have a Texas vocational nursing license, CPR, and completion of a vocational nursing program; HS diploma required. Preferred: 1 year of clinic/office nursing experience and 1 year pediatric experience. PALS must be obtained within 1 year of hire. Located in Hurst, TX; full-time, varying shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Graduate of an accredited school of vocational nursing
- Minimum of one year nursing experience in a clinic or office setting preferred
- 1 year pediatric experience preferred
- Current license to practice vocational nursing in the State of Texas
- Current CPR certification
- PALS must be obtained within 1 year of hire
