Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing facility under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Director of Nursing. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed; monitor residents’ vital signs and responses to treatment; assist with development and implementation of individualized care plans; supervise and support CNAs; maintain accurate medical documentation; ensure infection control and safety standards; respond to resident needs and emergencies; participate in shift reports and interdisciplinary team meetings; provide compassionate care while maintaining resident dignity and privacy.
Required Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of employment
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current CPR certification required
