Job Summary
Greet and assess incoming patients, review resident charts for treatments and medication orders, and perform daily room rounds. Administer prescribed medications, tube feedings, and catheterizations, while verifying transportation requirements and printing daily labs. Direct nursing assistants in accordance with regulations, maintain daily census reports, and complete required electronic and paper forms. Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as needed, notifying physicians of accidents or status changes, and conduct weekly audits of the medication room and refrigerator. Schedule staff, lead development efforts, and ensure compliance with company standards.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in a Skilled Nursing facility as an LVN in California
- Current CA LVN license in good standing
Desired Qualifications
- 2-3 years of leadership experience, or training desired
