Job Summary
Greet and assess incoming patients, perform daily room rounds, and review resident charts for treatments, medications, and diets. Administer prescribed medications, prepare tube feedings, and conduct catheterizations, suction, and dressing changes. Direct nursing assistants in daily operations, manage weekend supervisor tasks, and maintain the daily census report. Ensure all staff adhere to regulations while fostering a warm environment. Complete and file daily electronic and paper forms, verify transportation requirements, and audit weekly medication storage. Notify physicians of any accidents, incidents, or status changes. Schedule and lead staff development sessions to support retention and growth within the clinical team.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in a Skilled Nursing facility as an LVN in California
- Current CA LVN license in good standing
Desired Qualifications
- 2-3 years of leadership experience, or training desired
