LVN Charge Nurse

Greet and assess incoming patients, perform daily room rounds, and review resident charts for treatments, medication orders, and diets. Administer prescribed medications, prepare tube feedings, and perform procedures including catheterization, dressing changes, and specimen collection. Direct nursing assistants in accordance with regulations, maintain daily census reports, and complete all required electronic and paper forms. Conduct weekly audits of the med room and refrigerator, verify transportation requirements, and notify physicians of any accidents or status changes. Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as needed while scheduling and leading staff development to foster retention.
