LVN Charge Nurse

Greet and assess incoming patients, follow up on prior day admissions, and orient new residents and families. Perform daily room rounds, review charts for treatments and medication orders, and verify transportation requirements. Administer prescribed medications, prepare tube feedings, perform catheterizations, and change dressings while ensuring CNA compliance. Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as needed. Direct daily nursing assistant functions, maintain daily census reports, and complete all required electronic and paper forms. Audit weekly medication storage and report incidents or suspected fraud to the administrator. Schedule staff, lead development efforts, and adjust shifts based on PPD calculations.
