Job Summary
Organize patient plans of care from service initiation through discharge. Communicate with providers, insurance companies, nurses, pharmacy staff, and patients/families. Assist AIC nurses in obtaining provider orders, starting IVs, and managing all aspects of patient care needs. Train in Irvine location before transferring to the Long Beach ambulatory infusion center. Requires current unrestricted CA LVN license and IV certification. Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 7:00 pm.
Required Qualifications
- Current unrestricted CA LVN license
- IV certification
- Strong communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Documentation skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Flexibility to train/interview in our Irvine location
- Flexibility to transfer to our Long Beach ambulatory infusion center location when training is complete
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with PICC lines
- Experience with implanted ports
- Experience with IV therapy within LVN scope of practice
- Experience starting IV's
- Experience drawing blood
- Spanish speaking
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced clinical support environment
