Job Summary
LVN oversees wellness and resident care in the Long Beach facility, administers medications, leads care staff, develops and updates care plans in line with Title 22 (DSS) and Title 17 (DDS) regulations, ensures timely and accurate medication delivery, maintains documentation, conducts resident assessments, and provides supervision to staff to uphold high standards of care and resident safety.
Required Qualifications
- Current LVN license from the State Board of Nursing
- Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Health and physical clearance within 6 months; TB test clearance
- Criminal background clearance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Physical ability to lift and assist residents (up to 20 lbs) and to perform transfers
