Job Summary
Provide skilled direct patient care and monitor renal dialysis patients. Operate all renal dialysis equipment and recognize changes in patient condition while on dialysis. Administer medications and access hemodialysis catheters for patient care techs as assigned. Requires three years of recent general patient care experience, successful completion of a 3-month probation period, and current Texas LVN licensure. Verification of American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support and Health Care Provider guidelines is required.
Required Qualifications
- Three years recent experience in general patient care
- Successful completion of a 3-month probation period
- Verification of course completion in accordance with all American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support and Health Care Provider guidelines
- Current LVN licensure in the State of Texas
