Job Summary
Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for Adult ED. Reports to RN; provides direct/indirect age-appropriate patient care per multidisciplinary care plan; supports data gathering for care plan updates; notifies RN of abnormal findings; maintains professional service and teamwork; requires LVN license in CA, BLS, and IV Therapy/Blood Withdrawal certifications; minimum 1 year LVN experience; BART course within six months of hire; English (Spanish preferred).
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a school of Vocational Nursing
- Minimum of one year experience as LVN
- BART course completed within six months of hire
- Active California LVN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- California IV Therapy and Blood Withdrawal certification
