LVL - Maintenance Technician - Evening Shift

Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial production equipment including robotic welding cells and robotic material handling systems. Diagnose and repair electro-mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. Implement equipment upgrades and modifications to improve safety, product quality, and on-time delivery. Train production associates on the safe setup, operation, and basic troubleshooting of production and robotic equipment. Assist with the design, fabrication, installation, and commissioning of new machinery and automation systems. Perform general facility maintenance and repairs as required. Maintain, calibrate, and repair production hand tools and support tool control procedures. Recommend and support continuous improvement initiatives for production equipment, processes, and the preventive maintenance program. Accurately document maintenance activities using the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related technical field preferred
- Minimum of one (1) year of related industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience required
- Strong ability to troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical industrial equipment using schematics, drawings, manuals, and diagnostic tools
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, repairing, and rebuilding hydraulic and pneumatic power systems
- Solid experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical power and control circuits
- Working knowledge of industrial electronics, including PLC troubleshooting and basic programming (Allen-Bradley preferred)
- Experience with industrial robotics, including robotic welding and robotic material handling systems; Fanuc experience preferred
- Capable of steel fabrication using saws, torches, welders, mills, and lathes
- Computer literate; comfortable using diagnostic software, programming tools, CMMS, and basic Microsoft applications
- Strong decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Good mathematical aptitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated commitment to safe maintenance practices and ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work overtime or weekends as business needs require
