Job Summary
Conduct Level II NDT inspections using UT, MT, PT, VT, and/or RT methods by setting up and calibrating equipment, interpreting results, and preparing accurate documentation. Maintain inspection equipment and records while ensuring compliance with company, customer, and safety requirements. Work independently and with supervisors, quality teams, and customers across field and shop operations. Perform overtime, weekends, and varying shifts based on project demands. Requires current Level II NDT certification, previous NDT experience, and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Current Level II NDT certification in one or more methods
- Previous NDT inspection experience
- Strong understanding of NDT procedures, standards, and inspection techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and procedures
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Candidates must either be local to the area or willing to relocate
- Must be capable of setting up inspection equipment
- Must be capable of interpreting results
- Must be capable of preparing accurate documentation
- Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and varying shifts based on project demands
Desired Qualifications
- Multiple NDT certifications
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, refinery, or power generation environments
- TWIC card
- OSHA certifications
- Rope access experience
- PAUT experience
- Advanced NDT experience
