Job Summary
Park and retrieve guest vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously, assisting with luggage delivery and pick-up during arrival and departure. Greet guests within five feet using their last names and the salutation of the day, while explaining parking rates and retrieval procedures. Open vehicle and hotel doors, handle bell services and luggage storage, and deliver messages or amenities as requested. Shuttles guests to approved locations and provides information on outlets, meeting rooms, and local attractions. Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles, maintain ticket information including key tags and damage surveys, and issue claim checks only after receiving keys. Work AM/PM shifts with an hourly base pay of $15 plus $4–$8 in tips and quarterly tips. Seasonal and temporary roles are not eligible for benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to pass a criminal background and drug screen
- One (1) month related experience and/or training
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English language
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
- Ability to perform these operations using units of American money
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission
- Ability to perform parallel parking
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds of force occasionally
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds of force frequently
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds of force constantly
- Ability to run; walk; handle or feel objects, tools or controls
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Ability to climb stairs
