Job Summary
Lead the construction and completion of luxury, high-end custom homes in Northern California by managing on-site planning, staffing, subcontractor coordination, and schedule adherence. Read and interpret engineered plans and specifications, manage budgets and expenditures, coordinate RFIs, submittals, permits, and city inspections, and maintain strong relationships with Owners, Architects, and Subcontractors. Oversee master construction schedule, ensure safety and quality control per OSHA standards, and assist with permit applications while supporting project management with routine reporting and documentation. Requires 5-10 years of progressive leadership in custom residential construction, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and proficiency with standard software tools (Outlook, Project, Word, Adobe Acrobat).
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5-10 years experience supervising high-end, single-family, custom residential construction projects
- Thorough knowledge of typical residential trades
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints/engineered plans
- Understanding of technical aspects of construction
- Excellent organizational skills
- Critical thinking skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Schedule and coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers
- Manage and control construction expenditures against budgeted line items
- Coordinate inspections and permit processes
- Lead on-site meetings with architect and owner(s)

- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Project, Word, and Adobe Acrobat
