Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day operations and overall performance of The Rocklyn, leading property management, maintenance, and concierge teams to establish high standards for cleanliness, service, and presentation. Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, addressing concerns professionally while building relationships to drive retention and satisfaction. Manage the annual operating budget, monitor expenses, and collaborate with leadership on forecasting, capital planning, and strategic initiatives. Recruit, train, and develop on-site staff, ensuring adequate scheduling and a positive workplace culture. Oversee building maintenance, preventative programs, and vendor performance while ensuring compliance with NYC housing and safety regulations. Partner with leasing teams to support occupancy goals and collaborate with ownership on renovations and capital improvements.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of property management experience
- experience in luxury residential, multifamily, high-rise, or large-scale properties
- Previous experience as a General Manager or similar leadership role
- Proven experience managing and developing on-site teams
- Strong knowledge of residential property management and building operations
- Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, expense management, and operational planning
- Strong understanding of building maintenance, preventative maintenance, vendors, and facilities operations
- Knowledge of applicable NYC real estate, housing, building, and safety regulations
- Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Strong customer service and resident relations experience
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced residential environment
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining luxury property standards
- Experience with property management software, Microsoft Office, and other operational systems
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Hospitality, Property Management, or a related field
