Job Summary
Collect rent, compile market data, and file evictions while ensuring revenue accuracy and adherence to local laws. Issue lease violations, review applications, and audit move-ins to verify payments and document execution. Troubleshoot resident situations, assist with leasing tours, and take escalated service requests to maintain community guidelines. Complete monthly reports, assist in budget preparation, and host resident functions to maximize renewals. Work one weekend monthly and evenings as needed. Prepare for advancement to Property Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Drivers License
- High school diploma
- Must be able to work one weekend a month
- Must be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must be able to cope with stress in a composed manner
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality
- Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks
- Must possess strong customer service skills
- Must possess strong organizational and technical skills
- Must possess strong negotiating and sales abilities
- Must demonstrate strong leadership; interpersonal and organization skills
- Must demonstrate effective time management skills and attention to detail
- Must demonstrate excellent computer skills, verbal, math, and reasoning skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and other Microsoft Office products
- Knowledge of Internet, Email, and social media as it pertains to marketing of community
- Knowledge of property management software, such as, Onesite, Yardi, RealPage, Knock, RentCafe, Resman, etc.
- Knowledge of business practices and principles
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ experience in property management or real estate preferred
- Post-secondary preferred in units in business, or property management
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be able to handle multiple projects and tasks
